Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for exceptional Special Education Teachers licensed in New Hampshire for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract position supports schools in the Peterborough, NH area to deliver tailored educational programs and foster student growth across elementary, middle, and high school settings.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active New Hampshire Special Education Teacher license
• Experience working within elementary, middle, or high school environments
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt curriculum for individual student needs
• Excellent collaboration skills with faculty, parents, and support teams
• Organizational and time management proficiency
• Positive, compassionate approach to working with students with diverse abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective lesson plans for students with varying needs
• Administer and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Employ accommodations and modifications to curriculum and assessments
• Collaborate with general education teachers and school support staff
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on student progress, attendance, and assessments
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing updates and support strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing professional development
