FACULTY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP (DOCTORALPROGRAM) Part-Time Lecturer Pool Position POSITION AVAILABLE : One or more temporary, part-timelecturers for a pool from which instructors will be considered forappointments as they become available for Fall Semester 202 6and/or Spring Semester 202 7. DUTIES OF THE POSITION Faculty teach courses and advisestudents in various capacities. Course descriptions are availableat The ELSJ program may seek instructors who bring expertise asschool, system, or agency leaders and who can support doctoralstudent research. The doctoral faculty and students are committedto challenging systematic inequities in schools and othereducational settings. Please note that teaching assignments atCalifornia State University, East Bay may include courses at theHayward campus, Concord center, and/or online. The policyandexpectationof the California State University is that allfaculty members will perform all their duties within the state ofCalifornia. RANK AND SALARY Salary is dependent upon educationalpreparation and experience . Please be advised that an appointmentis contingent upon budget and enrollment considerations and subjectto order of assignment provisions. The salary ranges for theLecturer-Academic Year classification are listed below: Lecturer AY ( Range 2 ): $5,507 -$6,677 Lecturer AY ( Range 3 ): $6,221 -$13,224 Lecturer AY ( Range 4 ): $6,825 -$14,523 Lecturer AY ( Range 5 ): $8,593 -$15,211 The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum ofthe appropriate range, commensurate with education andexperience. DATES OF APPOINTMENT Fall Semester Start & End dates: 08/1 7/26 – 12/ 18/26 Spring Semester Start & End dates: 01/ 19/27 – 05/ 21/27 QUALIFICATIONS Qualified applicants must have an earnedDoctorate in Educational Leadership or other relevant field, andexperience teaching .
