Manufacturing Controller

Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Controller to lead the financial operations of a Regional business unit This role will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and accounting operations while ensuring strong financial controls and compliance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance leader who can provide strategic insights, support operational decision-making, and develop a high-performing accounting team. Direct all accounting and financial activities for the division. Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. Monitor key performance indicators and provide recommendations to improve results. Planning & Analysis Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes. Analyze operating results and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and capital investments. Deliver meaningful reporting and business insights to leadership. Internal Controls & Compliance Maintain a strong control environment and financial governance framework. Support internal and external audits. Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies. Who You Are: Required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. 8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience. 3+ years of leadership experience within a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Finance Manager capacity. Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or multi-site operations. Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting. Proven ability to partner with business leaders and drive financial performance. Nice to Have: CPA and/or CMA certification. Experience within multi-entity or multi-location organizations. ERP system experience, including SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms. Advanced reporting and business intelligence experience, including Power BI.
