Product Design Lead - Fintech

PRODUCT DESIGN LEAD

Our client is a rapidly scaling international fintech focused on making cross-border money movement faster, simpler and more accessible. Operating across the United States and Nigeria, the business has already acquired more than 100,000 users and is entering an exciting new phase of growth as it expands its product capabilities, technology infrastructure and international reach. The role is not remote. The successful candidate must be physically based in New York, USA and be available to attend the office during normal working hours. Key Responsibilities Lead product design initiatives across the organisation's digital products and customer experiences Help shape and evolve the overall user experience strategy Design intuitive, engaging and customer-focused product experiences Translate business objectives and customer needs into effective design solutions Collaborate closely with engineering, product and leadership teams Support the redesign and continuous improvement of customer-facing products Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity designs Contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable design systems Support user research, testing and customer feedback initiatives Use data, customer insight and design thinking principles to improve product experiences Champion customer‑centric design approaches throughout the organisation Help establish design best practices and scalable design processes Ideal Candidate Profile 5+ years of experience within Product Design, UX Design, UI Design or Digital Product Design Strong portfolio demonstrating customer‑focused digital product design work Experience working within fintech, payments, SaaS, consumer technology or high‑growth startup environments Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design and user‑centred design methodologies Experience designing customer‑facing digital products and experiences Familiarity with design systems and scalable design frameworks Strong visual design and communication skills Experience collaborating closely with engineers and product stakeholders Proven ability to operate effectively within fast‑moving and evolving organisations Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking capabilities Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on execution Demonstrated ownership mentality with a track record of delivering results On Offer Competitive compensation package Opportunity to join a rapidly scaling international fintech Significant ownership and influence within a growing organisation Direct exposure to founders and senior leadership Opportunity to help shape the future direction of the technology function High‑autonomy environment with meaningful impact and responsibility Exposure to complex payments, identity and financial technology challenges Professional growth and development opportunitiesOpportunity to contribute to the growth of a business with significant international expansion plans #J-18808-Ljbffr Rosie's People
