We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the maintenance and optimization of our production machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our equipment, reducing downtime, and contributing to the overall productivity of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential faults or malfunctions.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks to keep machinery and equipment operating at peak efficiency.
• Respond promptly to any machinery breakdowns or malfunctions, diagnosing faults and conducting repairs as quickly as possible to minimize production downtime.
• Operate and maintain boiler operations, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.
• Perform conveyor repairs and maintenance, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
• Utilize mechanical troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues with machinery and equipment.
• Fabricate parts and components as needed, using a variety of tools and equipment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments to optimize maintenance procedures and improve overall productivity.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to maintain current knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with packaging, boiler operations and maintenance, maintenance fabrication, conveyor repairs, and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures.
• Strong skills in repairing, preventative maintenance, and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Adherence to all health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
