Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Work chair-side with Orthodontist, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
• Preparing and taking patient molds
• Changing out rubber bands, wires, and brackets
• Adjusting fit of clear aligners such as Invisalign
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

At a Glance

• CDA or RDA certification required
• X-ray certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 year of orthodontic assisting experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Passion for delivering outstanding patient care

Compensation and Schedule

• Starting Pay: $20+ per hour, based on experience + a onetime sign-on bonus of $500
• Monthly Bonus Pay: up to $300 additional per month
• Job Type: Full-time
• Schedule: Day shifts only, no nights or weekends, with shorter workdays on Fridays
