Physician - OB GYN Profession: Physician Specialty: Clientist - OB Duration: 13 Shift: 24 Hour Hours per Shift: 7a-7a Experience: Board Certified in OB/GYN License: Active State License, Active IMLC, or new license candidate for 2027 dates Must-Have: Board Certified in OB/GYN Active State License Self-Query NPDB (pulled within the month) Candidate cannot be local to the area Description:We are looking for Locum OB/GYN-Clientists to help cover our needs.The schedule requires a 24-hour shift from 7 AM to 7 AM.Physicians cannot work more than two 24-hour shifts in a row.The role involves providing management for labor and performing deliveries.You will support the OBED and LD units.You will perform rapid evaluation and management of obstetric patients.Care must be initiated within 30 minutes for presenting patients.Independently assessing patients is essential for this role.Managing high-acuity obstetric cases and coordinating care is required.You will oversee labor management, including fetal monitoring and procedures.Deliveries are performed even when the primary OB/GYN is unavailable.You will serve as the clinical lead during obstetric emergencies.Collaboration with midwives for higher-risk patients is expected.You will cover unassigned deliveries and emergent situations.There are residents on-site, but the OB Clientist will not be in charge of them.No GYN responsibilities are included in this role.Maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system is required.The inpatient volume is significant with a high number of deliveries annually.This position includes emergent care for vaginal deliveries and C-sections.You will oversee patients without a primary OB/GYN.Weekly availability for shifts will be determined based on coverage needs.This position does not include telehealth responsibilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
