Job Description Job Description Class A CDL Hazmat Driver - Up to $35/hr + Overtime Location: Kyle, TX Pay: $34.00 - $35.00 per hour Schedule: Full-Time Type: Contract-to-Hire About the Role We are seeking experienced Class A CDL Drivers with a Hazmat Endorsement to support overnight transportation operations in Texas. This position is ideal for safety-focused drivers who have experience hauling hazardous materials, operating multiple trailer types, and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations. Drivers will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently while ensuring all federal, state, and company safety requirements are met. Compensation $34.00 - $35.00 per hour Average of 40 regular hours per week Approximately 8 hours of overtime weekly Contract-to-Hire opportunity Consistent overnight schedule Available Schedules Shift Option 1 Sunday - Wednesday 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Shift Option 2 Wednesday - Saturday 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM What You'll Do Safely transport hazardous materials during overnight routes Operate flatbeds, refrigerated trailers (reefers), and dry vans Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs and transportation records Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams Report delays, equipment issues, or route concerns promptly Maintain a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance Qualifications Required Valid Class A CDL Active Hazmat Endorsement Minimum 2 years of Hazmat driving experience Minimum 2 years of overnight driving experience Experience operating: Flatbeds Refrigerated trailers (reefers) Dry vans Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements Clean driving record Strong commitment to safety and professionalism Preferred Experience operating in Texas transportation environments Strong understanding of vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting Experience working with electronic logging devices (ELDs) What We're Looking For Safety-first mindset Dependability and strong attendance Professional communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently Commitment to regulatory compliance Reliability in overnight operations Why Join Us?
