This position will manage the team responsible for ensuring targets are met in regards to safety, quality, cost and delivery by reducing scrap, improving cycle time, and other process improvements. In this role, the incumbent will work hand in hand with Planning Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Quality, and Logistics to ensure that we are meeting our targets.Job Description Directs engineering work for manufacturing engineers supporting the problem solving process for scrap reduction, cycle time reduction, and overall process improvementsSupports continuous improvement activities to improve safety, quality and productivity for assigned areas of responsibilityResponsible for budget planning for line improvement activities, builds business cases and manages spending according to planEnsure the equipment OEE, rejects/FTT, and IDC (scrap cost) are meeting the business targetsSupport and ensure the operations team is able to meet their production targetsCoordinates the engineering change process for the ER value stream in close collaboration with design engineering, quality engineering and logisticsCreate, manage and maintain high performance culture within the engineering teamParticipate and build international and national network within the companyQualificationsRequirementsBachelors of Science in Engineering from an accredited institution with minimum 5 yrs. experience in a manufacturing or other relevant industry experience.Experience with assembly processesStrong management and leadership skillsStrong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skillsAnalytical problem solver; experience with RedX methodology or other problem solving toolsAdditional InformationEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability / veteransIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
