Roastery Assistant

Hey everyone! We’re hiring for a Roastery Assistant at HB-HQ!

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for meeting the needs of our stores and wholesale customers while upholding the company's core values. Day-to-day responsibilities include order fulfillment, packaging coffee, prepping deliveries, cold brew production and coffee roasting.

Tasks include:

Picking and staging orders for stores and wholesale customers efficiently and accurately
Packaging coffee into 12oz retail bags, ½ lb bags and 5 lb bags
Brewing and packaging cold brew coffee
Production roasting
Knowing how to fully operate all machinery in the warehouse: forklift, weigh and fill, scales, bulk grinder, heat sealers, etc.
Ensuring that the warehouse is cleaned and organized at the end of every shift
Understanding organic processor and handler standards and compliance
Assisting with deliveries as needed
Assisting with ecommerce orders as needed

Requirements:

Organized and detail oriented with a commitment to quality
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
Drivers license and a clean driving record
A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Weekday availability
