Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: Missoula, MT

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor & Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum care, demonstrating the ability to provide quality nursing care in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for laboring mothers and their newborns.
• Utilize clinical judgement and critical thinking skills in managing patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement effective care strategies.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to interventions.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care processes and post-partum expectations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Montana.
• 1-2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum nursing.
• Must possess required certifications for labor and delivery nursing.
• Ability to float within a 25-mile radius if needed.
