Part Time Desk Clerk

Job Order: Part-Time Front Desk Clerk Position Type: Part-Time Whispering Sands Motel is seeking a friendly, efficient Part-Time Front Desk Clerk to serve as the primary point of contact for guests. This role is responsible for delivering welcoming customer service, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. Key Responsibilities: - Welcome guests upon arrival, verify identification, process payments, and assign room keys. - Manage phone calls, walk-in inquiries, and online room reservations. - Assist guests with questions regarding amenities, local dining, directions, and motel policies. - Balance daily transactions and complete basic shift-end administrative reports. - Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness. - Maintain a neat, clean, and organized lobby and front desk area. Qualifications: - Previous front desk, customer service, or cash-handling experience preferred. - Basic computer proficiency and comfortable learning property management software. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask independently. - Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work weekends or holidays as needed.
