Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Software Architect (Subject Matter Expert) to lead the design and modernization of enterprise healthcare applications within a cloud-native environment. This role is responsible for defining scalable architecture solutions, guiding engineering teams, and driving modernization initiatives using microservices and AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable, secure, and cloud-native enterprise architectures
• Lead modernization initiatives from legacy systems to microservices-based solutions
• Define architecture standards, integration patterns, and best practices
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
• Design RESTful APIs and distributed system communication patterns
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, security, and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders
• Conduct architecture reviews and technical assessments
• Support cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
• Experience with REST APIs and enterprise integrations
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of scalability, resiliency, and system performance
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
