About the Facility – Artesia Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) This outpatient clinic provides primary care and specialty care health services, including cardiology, laboratory, and pathology services, social work, and rehabilitation services. It offers a variety of services to those struggling with addiction, including dual diagnosis, adult and elderly rehab, LGBTQ friendly rehab, military rehab, men's and women's rehab, young adult rehab, detox treatment, inpatient and outpatient rehab, aftercare support, sober living homes, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavior therapy, experiential therapy, family therapy, group therapy and trauma therapy. Facility Address: 2410 W Main St, Artesia, NM 88210ResponsibilitiesNurse Practitioner's Responsibilities:Will be responsible and accountable for assessment, diagnosis, and management of patient problems, including prescription of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic intervention.The scope of practice of a nurse practitioner includes, but is not limited to, each of the following:Advanced practice registered nursing by certified nurse practitioners is based on knowledge and skills acquired throughout an advanced practice registered nurse's nursing educations, training, and experience.Advanced nursing patient assessment and diagnosis.Ordering diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures, performing those tests and procedures when using health care equipment, and interpreting and using the results of diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures ordered by the advanced practice registered nurse or another health care professional.Ordering treatments, ordering, or applying appropriate medical devices, and using nursing, medical, therapeutic, and corrective measures to treat illness and improve health status.Providing palliative and end-of-life care.Providing advanced counseling, patient education, health education, and patient advocacy.RequirementsNurse Practitioner's Requirements:Must have a Master's degree in nursing.Must have a current and unrestricted license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.Must have a current Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification by a provider recognized by the American Heart Association.Must have a minimum of one-year experience in the clinical areas of intended assignment.KurzSolutions is committed to improving health outcomes by providing well-managed companies with the top healthcare talent in the market.
