Project ManagerShift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8AM to 5PMPay Rate: $25-$35/hr DOELocation: Alvin, TXExperience: 2-3 yearsJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our client's team in Alvin, TX. The position of Project Manager is responsible for the company's day to day management of assigned projects. For the project manager, this includes managing all project related correspondence between company and client, maintaining their project schedule to coordinate and prioritize all phases of the production process across all assigned projects, and efficiently managing job costs to bring projects in under budget.Job Qualifications:Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office SuiteComputer literate, able to learn new software without extensive training in the use of a computerStrong understanding for the interpretation of project drawings and specificationsVersed in commercial architectural millworkHighly organized and proactiveWorking knowledge of generally accepted take off principlesWorking knowledge of industry related finishes and hardwareStrong leadership with the ability to positively motivate peers and subordinatesFamiliar with the commercial construction processExperience in job costing and budget managementPrimary Responsibilities:Managing correspondence between team and clientPreparation of project submittal package (submittal drawings, samples, product data)Maintaining schedule that establishes a priority for critical path items such as submittal drawings, programming, material requisition, field measurement, production, installation, invoicingDirecting team members, scheduling production time with plant manager, and coordinating installers in accordance with project scheduleOrder materials and schedule manpower in accordance with project budgetsCommunicate the need for change order pricing and the appropriate details to project estimatorUnderstand and ensure team is meeting company established minimum benchmarks for estimating, engineering, and project managementProvide estimating support in the event company is below minimum benchmark for salesPromote the importance of safety and utilize best practices to create a safe work environment for the teamPromote a culture of continuous improvement through the creation of new processes or enhancement of existing processesOpenly collaborate with interdepartmental peers on elements of physical design, material selection, resource procurement, equipment and cumulative schedulingAccurately record job costing information for all projectsTravel to and from job sites as required for field coordinationJoin Us.PrideStaff Company OverviewPrideStaff wants you to Succeed!
