Job Description: Essential Job Functions Delivers a prescribed course of radiation therapy as directed by a Radiation Oncologist. Maintains documentation of patient treatment records, films and schedules. Performs simulations using departmental procedures and direction from physicians and physicist while maintaining accurate documentation of set-up parameters. Maintains patient scheduling in each technical area. Maintains billing for simulation, treatment, port films and treatment aides. Participates in quality control procedures within the department. Maintains inventory of supplies needed in each technical area assigned. Daily monitors, evaluates and refers each patient for side effects, nutritional status, physical disease progression, emotional and psycho-social status.
