Little Genius Daycare is looking for a full-time Spanish-speaking Co-Teacher to join our warm, supportive, and passionate team! If you love working with young children and enjoy creating meaningful learning experiences through play, exploration, and creativity, we'd love to meet you.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities and lessons that promote learning and development.
• Foster a safe, caring, and welcoming classroom environment where every child feels valued.
• Encourage children's language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
• Supervise children throughout the day while ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
• Support daily classroom routines, including meals, naps, outdoor play, toileting, and transitions.
• Observe and document children's progress and share important information with the teaching team.
• Build positive relationships with families through respectful and professional communication.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and staff to provide the highest quality care and education.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Spanish.
• Previous experience working in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood setting is preferred.
• Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, patient, positive, and professional.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• NC Early Childhood credentials (EDU 119 or equivalent) are a plus but not required.
