This career site is for external applicants only.****Job Description:****Job Summary**The Commercial Truck Driver has a Class A Commercial’s Driver’s License (CDL-A), safely operates commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) day or night in all weather conditions, and the Commercial Truck Driver complies with all safety regulations.**Responsibilities*** The Commercial Truck Driver safely and legally drives company-owned units day or night, on various road types, and in all weather conditions (occasionally over long distances)* The Commercial Truck Driver performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment for each job* The Commercial Truck Driver accurately maintains driver logs (ELD)* The Commercial Truck Driver verifies and completes required documentation and reports* Follow instructions and complete the required training* Work variable schedule to meet business needs* Maintain and utilize required safety equipment* Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions and safety meetings, and always utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)* Other duties as assigned**Job Qualifications*** Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience, required* Maintaining a valid and current CDL-A and a clean driving record, required* Minimum 21 years of age, required* Familiarity with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, required* Able to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) pre-employment drug test and physical examination, required* Able to pass a road test, required* Able to operate both manual and automatic transmissions, required* Able to perform Pre- and Post-trip Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) inspection, required* Must be familiar with electronic logging devices* Clear verbal and written communication skills, must be able to read, write, speak, and follow directions in English**Physical Demands**The physical demands described here represent those required for an employee to successfully perform the role’s essential functions.
