Job Summary:

Provide technical support and assistance to cardiologists, radiologists, and nursing staff in the Interventional Radiology lab. Ensure the safe and accurate execution of interventional procedures while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assist in the setup and operation of imaging and other medical equipment during interventional procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient status continuously, reporting any changes to healthcare providers promptly.
  
  
• 
  Follow established protocols to ensure safety, privacy, and proper procedure execution.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient interactions, and technical data.
  
  
• 
  Mentor and train students or new staff members as needed.
  
  
• 
  Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations governing patient safety and privacy.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RCIS or ARRT Radiology Technologist certification.
  
  
• 
  Possess a California radiology technologist license if ARRT (R).
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLA (AHA) ACLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Have at least 1 year of experience as an IR Tech.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong technical skills and attention to detail.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent communication and patient assessment abilities.
