Physician Otolaryngology-Pediatric - Competitive Salary

Job Description The Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a faculty pediatric otolaryngologist with specialty interest in sleep apnea to provide care in Nashville, TN. Position Highlights: Vanderbilt’s Pediatric Otolaryngology team is comprised of 9 surgeons and 10 advanced practice clinicians who perform more than 25,000 outpatient visits and 6,000 surgeries per year. The Vanderbilt Children’s Obstructive Sleep Apnea program offers a multidisciplinary approach to refractory obstructive sleep apnea, sleep disorders, and weight management. This position will provide complete surgical care to children with sleep apnea, including hypoglossal nerve stimulation, as well as general pediatric otolaryngology. Excellent multidisciplinary collaboration in 13 specialty clinics with specialists at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Great work/life balance – take general pediatric otolaryngology call only one week out of nine, led by residents. Teach fellows, residents, and other learners with a faculty appointment to VUMC.
