Location: Shreveport, LA

Our organization is currently seeking a full-time Rheumatologist to join our team at the Shreveport facility. Nestled along the Red River in northwest Louisiana, Shreveport is part of the 'Ark-La-Tex' region, where Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas converge. Here, you can experience a delightful blend of Cajun culture and a touch of Texas charm, as we are conveniently located just 15 minutes from the Texas border. Key Responsibilities

The Rheumatologist will be responsible for both administrative and clinical duties across non-teaching and teaching services. This role also involves leading and supporting various facility performance initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, patient satisfaction, and health outcomes.

• Attractive starting salary ranging from $280,000 - $300,000
• Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Faculty appointment available at the associated Louisiana State University Health and Science Center
• Involvement in teaching Rheumatology fellows, residents, and medical students
• Conducting consultations, follow-ups, and evaluations for patients with various allergy issues
• Managing an infusion clinic for patients needing biologics and IV bisphosphonates
• Reviewing missed appointments, contacting patients regarding abnormal lab results, and handling refill requests
• Possession of a Doctor of Medicine degree
• Current, unrestricted medical or surgical license in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth, including the District of Columbia
• Completion of residency training or nearing completion
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Rheumatology
