Job Title: Unit Builder

Job Description

The Unit Builder on 2nd shift assembles units according to dimensional drawings and established safety and quality standards. This role follows group leader instructions, uses a variety of hand and power tools, and moves between multiple workstations to perform casing, wiring, sub-assembly mating, and related tasks while accurately recording completed processes and identifying any defective parts.

Responsibilities

• Utilize various tools such as pneumatic impact tools, pliers, wrenches, and other hand tools to complete assembly work.
• Consistently lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds as part of daily assembly activities.
• Follow all safety procedures and use assigned personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain excellent attendance and a positive attitude to support team productivity and workflow.
• Adapt to changing work assignments and production needs while remaining flexible and team oriented.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency using hand tools such as pliers, wrenches, and similar equipment.
• General labor skills, including material handling and basic production tasks.
• Physical ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds and perform heavy lifting consistently.
• Capacity to stand, walk, and stoop for extended periods in a large plant environment.

Work Environment

This role is based in a large plant environment that is not temperature controlled, requiring comfort with varying indoor conditions. Team members are expected to stand, walk, and stoop for long periods and perform repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and must be worn as required to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grenada, MS.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Grenada,MS.
