MedicalWorx is currently sourcing for a Medical Assistant to join our Dermatology team in Wichita Falls, TX!

This company is a full-service dermatology practice. The doctor and her staff of board-certified dermatologists have helped individuals keep their skin healthy and vibrant for two decades.

MOHs experience preferred, not required. Dermatology experience is REQUIRED!

Qualifications:

• Team player.
• Punctual.
• Must have experience with both back and front office duties!!
• Previous dermatology or plastics experience.

Responsibilities:

• Phone triage to access patient needs when scheduling appointments and tests
• Order lab tests
• Check vital
• Injections
• Clean and stock exam rooms
• Review patient medical records for accuracy and completeness.
• Refill prescriptions
• Assist physician in exam room
• Maintain and promote HIPAA and OSHA compliance
• Other assigned duties as needed

Requirements:

• Previous Medical Assistant experience (dermatology NOT required)
• Must have a high school diploma or a GED.
