Allied - RRT

Job Title: RRT Location: Oregon, MO Schedule: 7:00AM - 7:00PM x 3 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate : $45 - $48/hr Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a RRT for a temporary assignment in Oregon, MO. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend. Responsibilities for a RRT: Evaluate patients with breathing difficulties or cardiopulmonary issues by reviewing their medical history, conducting physical exams, and interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood gases, chest X-rays, and pulmonary function tests Administer treatments to improve breathing, such as oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, chest physiotherapy, and inhalation therapy (e.g., nebulizer treatments) Set up and monitor equipment like ventilators, oxygen tanks, CPAP machines, and other respiratory devices; ensure proper function and maintenance of equipment Respond to emergency situations like respiratory failure, asthma attacks, or trauma, providing immediate life-saving interventions Educate patients and families on managing chronic respiratory conditions such as COPD, asthma, and sleep apnea; teach proper techniques for using respiratory devices and medications Work with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients with respiratory conditions Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress; document any changes in the patient's respiratory condition or treatment plan Assist patients in pulmonary rehabilitation programs designed to improve respiratory function, increase exercise tolerance, and reduce symptoms Work 3-12H day shifts with a minimum of 35 guaranteed hours and scheduling of 36 hours per week Maintain valid state licensure and required certifications including CRT or RRT credential through the NBRC Demonstrate proficiency in using respiratory equipment and technology Apply strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology related to respiratory care Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills, particularly in emergency situations Benefits for a RRT: Weekly pay every Friday Medical/Dental/Vision/Life/Pet Insurance 401K Retirement Plan (matching) Full-service Credentialing and Corporate Travel Team Referral Bonus up to $1,500 Astrya Global Medical Staffing offers 10+ years of staffing experience, 100% domestic support, and is certified by both the Joint Commission and National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations.
