Windows Automation Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Windows Automation Engineer for a top enterprise client. This individual will be responsible for developing and supporting automated solutions for large-scale software releases and patching across Windows-based systems. The role requires close collaboration with infrastructure, database operations, and engineering teams to build scalable deployment processes and improve system efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong scripting experience, expertise in Windows environments, and a passion for automation in a fast-paced, enterprise setting. Day-to-Day: Engineer and support automated software deployment and patching solutions across Windows environments Develop PowerShell scripts to streamline large-scale system updates Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, database, and software engineering Manage and optimize software release processes for efficiency and scalability Support change management and release cycles Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to patching and deployment Maintain system stability across large-scale, enterprise environments Must-Haves: Strong experience with Windows-based systems administration/engineering Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Advanced PowerShell scripting skills Experience building or supporting automated software release and patching solutions Ability to work cross-functionally with infrastructure, DB operations, and engineering teams #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
