Fast growing company Be part of a team Schedule / Overview Monday – Friday 40+ Hours a week Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. A senior level mechanic with extensive experience working on Diesel trucks. Perform vehicle repairs to ensure vehicles are safe and will perform optimally. Perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections and annual maintenance inspections per SMC protocol and repair mechanical problems Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately (including hours and usage of parts). Evaluate completed work, and if necessary, consult with the supervisor to ensure the machine/truck is functioning properly and meets safety standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment (Safety is not just our first name!) Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor in an effective and timely manner. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid drivers license required. DOT med card (eligible) Trade School and/or automotive training (Preferred but not required) CDL (Preferred but not required) Forklift certificate (Preferred but not required) Benefits Paid holidays, paid time off.
