Salesforce Data Analytics Consultant

Title: Salesforce Data Analytics Consultant Location: Bay Area, CA (Locals) Duration: 3 - 6Months CLIENT: Critical River | Square Inc Job Description: Key Responsibilities:
• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for Salesforce solutions.
• Salesforce Configuration & Administration: Configure Salesforce (e.g., custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and page layouts) to meet business needs, while ensuring best practices for scalability and maintainability.
• Process Improvement: Identify, analyze, and improve existing business processes, leveraging Salesforce and other tools to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
• Data Management & Reporting: Design and implement reports, dashboards, and data flows within Salesforce to provide actionable insights for decision-makers.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to validate that system changes meet specified requirements and function as intended. Work with QA teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for business processes, system configurations, and other relevant information to support future maintenance and training.
• Stakeholder Communication & Training: Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors. Provide training to end-users to maximize the adoption of new processes and Salesforce features.
• Project Management Support: Support project planning, monitoring, and reporting as it relates to Salesforce implementations and other business systems projects.
Qualifications :
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce.
• Salesforce Skills: Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, process builder, and reporting. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst) are a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, process mapping, and problem-solving to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum) and experience working in a project-driven environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and/or other data management and reporting tools is a plus.
