Overview Towncare Dental of Naples is looking for a Dental Assistant in Naples, FL to assist our clinical team with a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment. Position Overview As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of the care team, supporting the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience to be considered. Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake. Help dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory. Qualifications Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program. Or six months of on-the-job experience (with supporting documentation). X-Ray certification. High school diploma or equivalent. Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended. Completion of annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
