In addition to base pay, our team members also receive tips averaging approximately $4.00 per hour. Although tips can vary and are not guaranteed, our amazing guests regularly reward our team with generous gratuities for the great service and Buzz Life energy we bring every day. Actual amounts may differ based on location, hours worked, quality of service, and guest discretion. Average tips reflect 2025 reporting.ResponsibilitiesDeliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine serviceBe knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinksPrepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standardsWork all café positions — our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable – including working in our kitchens to make food to orderHelp run and administer a smooth schedule for breaks, meal period and shiftsAssist with setup, cleanup, stock work, and special tasksLead all shift duties as directed by the manager on dutyLead store cleanliness and safety – always ready for guests and teammatesAbility to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and teamResponsible for balancing and managing depositsActive in inventory and waste managementAdhere to opening and closing duties checklist and proceduresPerform all other duties at the discretion of the store manager or other members of leadershipQualifications1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferredPrevious fast paced coffee experience preferredPrior supervisory experience preferredDrive-Thru experience is preferredGuest service focused, solution orientedPassion for great coffee and exceptional guest serviceStrong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitudeReliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidaysComfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentMust be available to work 28 hours/week including nights, weekends and holidaysMust be able to work a mixture of open, closes and mid-shifts as dictated by the business needsAbout Better BuzzFounded in 2002 by two college students with a dream and a coffee cart, Better Buzz has grown into a thriving community with locations across California, Nevada, and Arizona.
