Travel Dialysis RN - $1,996 per week

Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Dialysis for a position in Cleveland, Ohio. This role requires 1-2 years recent acute care experience. Specialty: Dialysis Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel As a Dialysis Travel Nurse, you will provide care and support for patients suffering from acute and chronic renal (kidney) failure. RNs should have experience assisting pre- and during dialysis procedures, following physician orders. You should be prepared to perform the following tasks: Prime dialyzer and bloodlines. Record patients' medical information and vital signs. Prepare dialysis equipment. Oversee dialysis treatment. Cannulate accesses. Clean and dress permanent and temporary catheters. Identify irregular dialysis reactions and notify appropriate medical team members. Teach patient and significant others how to manage illness. Dialysis Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. RNs must be able to lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when moving patients. The fast‑paced environment requires strong stress‑coping skills and the ability to relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Requirements: BLS, ACLS, 1.5 years experience.
