Job Summary

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a dedicated Registered Nurse in Rochester, New York. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population within an acute care hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and re-assessments, documenting findings accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for efficacy and adverse reactions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records.
• Respond to emergent situations and provide appropriate interventions.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
