A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a licensed Wisconsin pharmacist with acute or LTAC experience to support a specialized rehabilitation hospital in the Madison area. This position offers a Monday through Friday day-shift schedule in a 50-bed facility focusing on inpatient rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other serious conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense and manage medications for inpatient rehabilitation patients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care plans
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records and OMNICELL automated dispensing systems efficiently
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Monitor patient medication regimens to ensure safety and efficacy

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Wisconsin pharmacist license (mandatory)
• Minimum of 1 year acute care or LTAC pharmacy experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC and OMNICELL systems preferred
• Ability to work Monday through Friday day shifts
