Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing services throughout a school district. The Float RN will support multiple school sites and provide comprehensive healthcare services to students.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications

• Manage care for students with diabetes, asthma, and other chronic health conditions

• Perform health screenings and assessments

• Maintain accurate student health records and documentation

• Respond to student health concerns and emergencies

• Collaborate with administrators, families, and healthcare providers

• Ensure compliance with state and district health regulations

Qualifications

• Active RN license

• Minimum one year of nursing experience required

• Previous school nursing or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong assessment and clinical skills

• Excellent documentation and communication abilities

• Ability to adapt to multiple school environments

Additional Requirements

• Fingerprinting/background screening required
