DISHWASHER (FULL TIME)

DISHWASHER Location: Marcel – 945 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10021. Schedule: Full time; Monday through Saturday. Hours may vary. Pay Range: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. Requirement: No previous experience required. Job Summary Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition. Responsibilities Enforce compliance with established kitchen standards, procedures, departmental policies, and sanitation guidelines. Maintain in-depth knowledge of recipes, ingredients, allergens, and proper food presentation. Verify that all products and prepared items are correctly labeled, dated, initialed, covered, and rotated in accordance with FIFO (first in, first out) guidelines. Knowledge, Experience and Skills Possess extensive knowledge of diverse culinary styles and demonstrate mastery across all line-level cooking stations. Experience working in an upscale, high-volume fine dining environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills that support a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
