Phlebotomy Float

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomy Float in Asheville, NC to perform blood collections and specimen processing across multiple clinic locations. The role offers schedule flexibility, exposure to diverse patient populations, and career development opportunities within a global diagnostics leader.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for patients of all ages
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen documentation logs
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass color blindness screening test
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- At least 21 years old
Compensation: $3,000 sign-on bonus; $1.00/hr float incentive plus mileage reimbursement; quarterly performance bonuses eligible
