Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care in an outpatient dialysis center. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of patients and their families who are dealing with end‑stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. Key Responsibilities Build meaningful and long‑term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting. Collaborate with a team that supports and relies on each other in a positive environment. Deliver care to patients managing multiple co‑morbidities, requiring unique treatment plans and a broad range of nursing skills. Work with your head, heart and hands each day in a fast‑paced environment. Training & Work Schedule No dialysis experience is required. Training may take place in a facility or training clinic other than your assigned home clinic. Float to various facilities during and after training. Requirements Current LPN‑LVN license in the state of practice. Current CPR certification. IV certification required if required by state regulations. High school diploma or equivalent. Completed training program approved by the medical director and governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system. BONENT or CHT certification preferred or required by state regulation. Minimum of one year’s experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred. Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required; functional proficiency in DaVita computer systems within 90 days of hire required. Compensation The wage range for this role is $30.00–$44.00 per hour. Licensed Practical Nurse ICHD Experienced: $33.75–$44.00 per hour. Compensation will be at least the minimum wage according to geographical jurisdiction and exemption status. For New York, exempt positions are $66,300.00 per year in City/Long Island, Nassau/Suffolk/Westchester and remaining state. Non‑exempt positions are $17.00 per hour in City/Long Island, $17.00 per hour in Nassau/Suffolk/Westchester and $16.00 per hour in remaining state.
