Tech - MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

Job Summary:
Perform clinical laboratory testing and analysis to support diagnostic decisions within the hospital's laboratory. Ensure accurate, timely results while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of chemical, biological, hematological, immunological, microscopic, and bacteriological tests.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Record and analyze test results, verifying accuracy before submission.
• Follow laboratory policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance and safety.
• Collaborate with medical staff to interpret and troubleshoot laboratory data.
• Prepare and document reports in the electronic medical record system.

Qualifications:

• Certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MLS) through ASCP, AMT, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with laboratory analyzers such as Sysmex, Siemens, Iris, Vision, Genexpert, Sofia, and Abbot systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work the scheduled night shift and on-call duties.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
