Inventory Manager

Mikkis Cafe Pearland in Pearland, TX is looking for one inventory manager to join our 40 person strong team. We are located on 9603 Broadway St #108. Food Benefits Opportunity to earn $23 per hour at catering events Responsibilities Must oversee and control a company's inventory levels Inventory Control and Management: Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, tracking inventory movement, and ensuring stock levels to meet demand without overstocking. Order Placement and Replenishment: Coordinating with suppliers to order new stock, ensuring timely replenishment, and managing lead times to prevent stock outage. Pantry Organization: Ensuring proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory to facilitate first in/first out retrieval and stock management. Stock Audits and Reconciliation: Conducting regular physical counts and audits to verify inventory accuracy and investigating and report discrepancies. Compliance and Safety: Ensuring inventory complies with safety standards and company policies.Everything is wrapped and sanitary Team Collaboration: Coordinating with Leadership, cooks, and GM to align inventory strategies with overall business goals always in mind. Qualifications Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related fields is a plus. Experience: Prior experience in inventory management, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry. Knowledge of restaurant operations and supply chain processes. Technical Skills: Proficiency with inventory management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Basic computer skills, including Excel and data analysis tools. Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent record-keeping and stock reconciliation abilities.
