Nursing Attendant – Full Time Nights - 8 West Med Surg - NYP Queens

Provide compassionate patient focused care and perform select duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Ensure the delivery of meals and safe transport. Measure, monitor and record temperatures, pulses, respirations and blood pressures. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care.

This is a full time nights position from 11pm to 7:15am at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens location. Weekend rotations required.

Required Criteria:

• Previous Nurse's aide experience or equivalent in a hospital setting; or certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aid training program, or currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum
• BLS from AHA
• HS Diploma/GED
• Must be able to complete mandatory 2-week orientation Monday - Friday from 8AM - 4PM upon hire.

Salary Range:

$24.94-$26.83/Hourly
