Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to site expectations.
• Support loss prevention and other retail operations by providing a visible presence, assisting with crowd flow during busy periods, and following post orders for after-hours checks and opening and/or closing activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
