ProCare Therapy has teamed up with an excellent school district in the Thomasville, NC area looking for someone to join their team as a Physical Therapist (PT) for the upcoming school year. This part-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to work with a small PreK–2 caseload while collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping students achieve their educational and developmental goals.

Position Details:

• Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
• Location: Thomasville, NC 
• School Year: August 17, 2026 – June 4, 2027
• Schedule: Part-Time
• Hours: Approximately 3 hours per week
• Setting: Onsite Only
• Student Population: PreK – 2nd Grade
• Caseload: Approximately 3 students

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with student IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations and assist in developing individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, administrators, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Support student mobility, access, and participation within the educational environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on individual needs
• Utilize ECATS and Infinite Campus for documentation, scheduling, and reporting

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Physical Therapy License (verification required)
• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy required
• School-based experience preferred
• Experience working with pediatric populations and/or within school settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to provide services fully onsite

Compensation & Benefits:

• Estimated Pay: $28–$35+ per hour
• Weekly competitive compensation (W-2)
