This position is located in Lakeview, Oregon. This is a temporary appointment. Appointment to this position will not convey permanent status and will be for a period not-to-exceed 1560 hours in a service year. Key Responsibilities Process, sort, and distribute daily physical and electronic incoming and outgoing mail and packages Provide front-desk or visitor center coverage, responding to routine public inquiries via telephone, email, and in-person contact Prepare, edit, and finalize correspondence Maintain the central filing system for official records, agency manuals, and directives; research and locate reference information; and resolve issues related to missing materials or filing errors Track, distribute, and inventory local assets Serve as collections officer which includes managing receipts, deposits, reconciliations and transfers Assist with budget and finance; manage receipts, deposits, reconciliations and transfers; manage vehicle dispatch, maintenance and reports; and track, distribute, and inventory local assets Support natural resource programs by executing database transactions, managing project files, and compiling program data into clear reports, charts, and presentations Requirements & Education Applicants may qualify for these positions based on experience, education, or an equivalent combination as described in the Qualifications section of this announcement. As a general rule, education is not creditable above GS-5 for most positions covered by this standard; however, graduate education may be credited in those few instances where the graduate education is directly related to the work of the position. If using education to qualify, you must submit copies of all transcripts or a list of college courses that include hours and grades from an accredited U.S. college/university.
