Automation QA - Java

- Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java to ensure the functionality, performance, and usability of e-commerce websites and mobile applications.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to identify test scenarios for retail-specific features like product catalogs, shopping carts, payment gateways, and customer accounts.

- Execute automated tests to validate end-to-end user journeys, including order placement, promotions, inventory management, and checkout processes.

- Integrate automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit) with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) to support continuous testing in an Agile environment.

- Perform regression, functional, and performance testing to ensure seamless user experiences across browsers, devices, and platforms.

- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, and work closely with developers to resolve issues impacting retail operations.

- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide recommendations to improve product quality and reduce time-to-market for new features.
- Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 6+ years of experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver and Java in an e-commerce or retail environment.

- Strong knowledge of e-commerce workflows, APIs, and retail-specific testing (e.g., payment processing, inventory systems).

- Proficiency in test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit), version control (Git), and build tools (Maven, Gradle).

- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality user experiences in a fast-paced retail setting.
