Transportation Manager Job Type: Full‑time; On‑site Responsibilities Recruit and train all drivers. Interact with the full‑service leasing company to ensure proper maintenance of all vehicles (all vehicles are automatic). Manage payroll, truck leasing and fuel budgets. Manage work performance and results of all drivers. Set effective schedules to operate within budget. Prioritize work effectively. Set high expectations and goals. Take responsibility for achieving performance results. Follow through to completion of work projects. Assure employees follow Company policies and procedures. Manage and coordinate all company safety procedures. Build effective customer relationships and resolve issues in timely ways. Experience Must have a CDL License (A or B) and prior driving experience. 5+ years of successful transportation management experience with proven results. Full understanding of DOT rules, regulations and requirements. Must have experience working with commercial drivers and regulations. Experience supervising a team in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive setting. Independent thinker and decision maker that requires minimal supervision. Strong Microsoft Word and Excel and basic PC skills.
