Licensed Practical Nurse - Per Diem

This position will provide required support to physicians and other staff members in performing physical examinations and other procedures.In this role, you will:Perform all patient procedures according to EHE guidelinesExplain testing procedures to patientsDeliver exemplary customer service to patientsPerform and maintain proficiency in venipuncture, specimen collection, EKG's, PFT's, audiometric testing, vision testing, tonometryProvide all routine and travel vaccines as directed by the physicianAssist with prepping all cardiac stress testing as directed by physicianPromote and ensure a safe working environment for patients and coworkersStock and clean exam roomsAssist with managing inventory and maintenance of medical suppliesAssist in coordination of patient examinations, including escorting patients to testing and examination areasPerform administrative duties as directedThe role requires:Graduated from an accredited allied health schoolCurrent state LPN license and CPR/BLS certification3 years or more related experience and/or trainingStrong phlebotomy skills and knowledge of vaccinesExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong attention to detail and organization skillsAbility to multi-task and handle multiple prioritiesWhat we offer:Competitive salaryEmployee access to our preventative exam and servicesThe rate for this role is $30 - $35 per hour and is determined by a number of factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications and skills.
