The Veterinary Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact in a busy small animal clinic, managing front desk operations with a focus on exceptional client service and efficient appointment coordination. Reporting directly to the Practice Owner and Veterinary Office Manager, this role is critical in supporting the smooth operation of the clinic during regular business hours.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
• Check in patients and update records accurately
• Handle billing, payments, and telephone inquiries
• Provide excellent customer service and support to veterinary staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas
• Manage the waiting area to ensure a positive client experience

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in veterinary reception
• Customer service skills
• Appointment scheduling experience
• Strong communication abilities
