About the team:
The Customer Engagement Services Technology team develops advanced customer service solutions impacting millions worldwide. It comprises software engineers, data scientists, and machine learning experts focused on innovative Generative AI applications within complex enterprise environments. As part of Walmart Global Tech’s Enterprise Business Systems, the team collaborates closely with product, business, and UX partners to deliver measurable business value. Emphasizing scalable, secure, and maintainable software design, the team fosters continuous improvement and operational excellence to support Walmart’s mission of helping customers save money and live better.
What you'll do:

• Lead delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams, ensuring alignment with platform and system objectives.
• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, efficient code across multiple programming languages and frameworks.
• Integrate AI and machine learning components to enhance software capabilities and innovation.
• Participate in design reviews, applying scalable and maintainable software design principles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Monitor application performance, conduct debugging, and support continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Mentor peers and contribute to engineering best practices and knowledge sharing.

What you'll bring:

• Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and C++.
• Strong expertise in object-oriented programming, code review, debugging, and documentation-based coding practices.
• Proven ability to deliver scoped features or models through collaborative engineering teams using iterative and incremental development.
• Experience with continuous integration, continuous deployment, automated testing, and DevOps monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of AI/ML integration and generative AI tools to enhance software intelligence and development efficiency.
• Demonstrated technical judgment in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions aligned with business goals.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills to engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
