Employment Type: Contract

License/Certs: Active medical license in VA; board certification in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB and Hospitalist experience

Experience: Prior OB hospitalist experience preferred

Pay & Benefits

Pay Rate: $214.50 per hour

What You'll Do

• Provide bedside OB care and management for hospitalized patients
• Collaborate with hospital staff and specialists to coordinate patient care
• Attend to labor and delivery procedures, as needed
• Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records
• Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and provide stabilization and transfer as necessary
• Serve as a resource to hospital staff regarding obstetric care protocols

What You Need

• Valid medical license in Virginia
• Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB experience
• Prior hospitalist or OB hospitalist experience preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules and handle obstetric emergencies responsibly
