The Assembly Operator is responsible for the operation of equipment, product segregation, quality inspection, disposition and documentation along with manual product assembly as required. Perform basic preventive maintenance, changeover and troubleshooting on equipment; ensure compliance with SOP's and specifications; perform data collection and product dispositioning. Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Less than 1 year of experience; manufacturing background preferred.
The Assembly Operator is responsible for the operation of equipment, product segregation, quality inspection, disposition and documentation along with manual product assembly as required. Perform basic preventive maintenance, changeover and troubleshooting on equipment; ensure compliance with SOP's and specifications; perform data collection and product dispositioning. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform start up and ongoing equipment and product inspections as required per applicable documentation.
- Segregate and disposition product based on equipment and product inspections.
- Conduct shop floor data collection tasks.
- Perform manual assembly and product rework tasks as required.
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformances relating to product and processes. Write nonconformances and holds when required.
- Scan product into MRP system; perform testing using computer; create traceability labels.
- Initiate and recommend or provide solutions to quality or safety concerns through designated communication channels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and business practices, including FDA regulations, GMP and ISO requirements.
- Assist with the training of new Operators.
- Perform chemical mixing operation.
- Maintain 5S standards in assigned work areas.
