The schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts. The staffing ratio follows established guidelines, which vary depending on the stage of labor or induction method being used. In the postpartum period, the nurse-to-couplets ratio is 1:3-4. The facility cares for pregnant individuals and newborns, including high-risk patients. Support is available from various interdisciplinary services. Travelers will float within designated service areas as needed. Travelers must complete compliance requirements prior to starting. No new requests for time off are allowed after submission. Requests for time off must not exceed 7 days. Candidates must have current certifications, which must be updated every two years.
